Patricia Allen is the Senior Development Assistant for the College of Computing (CoC). She manages the Administrative duties for the CoC Development Team, Gift Processing, and has an impactful role in Donor Relations. From 2007 - 2016, Patricia was the Meetings, Events and Administrative Coordinator for Georgia Tech’s 3D Systems Packaging Research Center (PRC). In that role, she planned annual conferences, workshops, and morale events for 100+ attendees, and specialized in venue selection, contract development and negotiations, catering negotiations and menu development, entertainment procurement, invoicing, securing necessary outside services, and venue layout.
In 2015, Patricia was invited to the Marriott Customer Forum, which allows Marriott’s most valued customers to meet and have a roundtable discussion with David Marriott and other Marriott Senior Leadership. That same year, she was asked to participate in a videotaping for the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel website. The video can still be seen today in the Meeting Space area on the hotel’s website. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University and a Certificate from the Financial Fundamentals training program at Georgia Tech.
