About the Center
The College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology is a global leader in real-world computing breakthroughs that drive social and scientific progress. Our undergraduate program is ranked #5 and our graduate program #6 in the country by US News and World Report. With our unconventional approach to education along with cutting-edge, cross-disciplinary research, we are expanding the boundaries of computing.
We work to democratize computing, foster an engaged citizenry, and achieve educational justice.
Within the College of Computing, the Constellations Center for Equity in Computing has been on a mission to expand access to computer science education to underserved communities since 2017. We are a center focused on increasing equity in computing, but we are so much more than that. We are a convener of people. We are a policy think tank. We empower administrators, teachers, and students to learn computer science, opening up opportunities they never dreamed possible. We are a hub and national leader for research and advocacy. We believe that together, democratizing computing can be more than a dream. It can be a reality.
We dream a world of equitable schooling, racial freedom and student dignity where participation in the technological age is fair and just.
